Contemporary train headcodes typically consist of a letter indicating a designation city (from A to F counter-clockwise starting from Mira, with C having been used for the Tali-Artas line before Kate Wars) followed by a sequence number (from 1 (always to Nova) to 10); e.g.: E1 is the first train from Soma (E2 — to Soma), A10 is the last train to Mira, and so on. As trains require extensive servicing after their Outside runs, a train usually completes only one turn per day.
In the names of train lines between the dome cities, Nova should always come last; e.g.: the Mira-Nova line. You can imagine there was some dispute about the Tali-Artas (or Artas-Tali) line.
